Welcome to HomeNetIQ ("we", "us"). By accessing or using our website at homenetiq.ca (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms govern your use of the Site only and do not replace written service agreements for on-site or remote work. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we post updates, the "Effective" date above will change. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
3 About our services
- The Site provides information about home/office networking, device support, smart-home setup, and practical AI coaching. It is informational only; no user accounts or online purchases are offered.
- Any quotes or time estimates discussed via email or phone are non-binding until confirmed in writing. On-site visits require safe access and permission from the property owner/tenant.
- We may link to manuals, vendor documentation, or third-party tools as references.
4 Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and responsibly. You will not:
- Attempt to interfere with or compromise the Site's security or availability.
- Scrape, copy, or republish content at scale without permission.
- Upload or transmit malware or harmful code.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
5 Ownership & intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, all text, graphics, logos, and layout on the Site are the property of HomeNetIQ and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may link to our Site and print or download a reasonable number of pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify notices or misrepresent affiliation.

The Site uses third-party services including Formspree (form processing) and Google Analytics (traffic metrics). These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Each has its own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Inclusion of any external link does not imply endorsement. 7 No warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. 8 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeNetIQ and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed CAD $100.

11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Edmonton, Alberta will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site.
12 Electronic communications (CASL)
By submitting an inquiry through our contact form or emailing us directly, you consent to receiving electronic replies from HomeNetIQ related to your inquiry. We do not send unsolicited commercial messages. Any communications we send will comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL, SC 2010, c 23).
